An adorable sleeveless baby & toddler romper suit. Features a front button or snap placket & snaps at the crutch for easy nappy changes, and a voluminous lower body with elasticated leg openings. Armholes & neckline are finished with self bias binding. View B has added ruffle detail at the armhole.

Size range: 0-3m - 4yr

Ability level: Intermediate

Sewing techniques included is this pattern: double neatening the ruffle edges (view A only), double turning the leg openings to create a tunnel for the elastic, self bias binding around the neckline & armholes & creating a snap/button placket at the centre front & crutch. The rest of the garment is made up of straight stitching, gathering & overlocking (serging).

Baby model is 9 months old, wearing a size 1yr in the floral & 9-12m in the spot. She is at the top end of the size charts for height & weight. For room to grow she needs to size up to a 1yr, though the average sized 9m old baby should fit a 9-12m.

Toddler model is 2 years 4 months old, 95cm tall wearing a size 2yr. He is big & tall for his age but still fits a size 2yr (size up for room to grow).
