Pocket detail can be unnecessary for small babies, but toddlers love to stash their treasures! So we have developed a pant & short with as much or as little detail as you wish to include. Pattern includes a mock fly, optional side angle pockets, elasticated waist & tie, and an option of rounded or angled back patch pockets. The waist edge can be ruffled or plain. Pant A is ankle grazer length & tapered. View B is sketched above with no side angle pockets, but they can be added or deleted to either view.
Size range 3-6m - 4yr
Ability level - Advanced Beginner / Fairly Easy (if no pockets & the regular waistband construction, this style is very easy / beginner level)
Recommended fabric - Medium weight woven fabrics such as a plain weave cotton, double gauze, or light to mid weight linen.
Arlo Pant A shown here in Navy linen is a size 3, worn by model aged 3, with 3cm off the length.
Pant A with ruffle edge is made from a chartreuse cotton/linen.
Short B is made from lilac linen.
