A simple jersey drop shoulder dress with gathered skirt at empire waist seam. Inside self binding finishes the neckline. View A has a cross over bodice. Views B & C have a boat neck & patch pockets. View B has a straight skirt suitable for striped knits while A & C have a slightly flared skirt.

Size range 3-6m - 8yr

Ability level = A sewer comfortable with jersey fabric will find this style easy - the pattern is very simple. Someone new to sewing knit fabrics may find the neck binding & waist gather a little challenging at first.

Sewing instructions are for overlocked (serged) seam construction.

View A shown here is made from cotton/spandex print jersey. Model is wearing a size 2 with 2cm added body length. She is 2.75years old, 96cm tall & is around the 91st percentile for weight & height. There is a little bit of room to grow, but she will probably need to go up to a size 3 in 3 months or so.
